He became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in year 2000. He obtained the licence to
practice in 1995 and has been carrying out audit and financial consultancy services. His working experience in financial services sector at middle and top management levels also gave him good exposure and wide opportunities. He is a problem solver and was the first to graduate with Distinction in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi in 1986. He obtained his MBA (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2008 and is also an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
